Robert Willett, an individual that has a history of attacking female REALTORS®, is recently off parole and is no longer being monitored. He was arrested in 2010 for gross sexual imposition in Akron and then in 2013 for abduction and assault in Lawrence Township (Stark County). Both victims were female REALTORS®. The Summit County Prosecutor’s Office believes he is still a risk and are not confident that he won’t attempt to re-offend.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office, his pattern has been to target female REALTORS®, setting up showings for homes that he knows are vacant, staying until the end or past the end time of open houses in order to have the REALTOR® alone. He does his research on the area and the homes. He may also claim his vehicle is disabled so that the REALTOR® showing the home to him will pick him up. He has been found with flex cuffs, scissors and a knife at one showing. In another incident he “bear hugged” a REALTOR® who was ultimately able to break free and escape. Robert has also pretended to sell or list his home to lure REALTORS® to his residence.

His most recent BMV photo is attached. Robert Willett (aka Bill Parks and Tim Ramsey) is 6’ 5” and 270lbs, with an artificial lower right leg. He currently resides in the Barberton area and is a registered sex offender. Phone numbers he has used in the past include 330-285-8298, 330-753-1364 and 330-983-4452. He owns a gray Nissan Xterra with a handicapped placard license plate.

Please share this information with any REALTORS®.  If anyone sees him at or near any homes for sale or at an open house, police should be contacted immediately. Stay Safe!
